The long awaited announcement about the return of train building to the region is rumoured to be coming very soon…..
We’re all waiting with baited breath as it will not only be a huge boost to the region, but will also mean some new neighbours for us! Amazon Park, where the Hitachi plant will be based, is just around the corner from Xcel and will bring much increased numbers of visitors to the area.
Our support has already been given to the campaign being run by local MP, Phil Wilson, and we continue to plan optimistically for a positive outcome…our main auditorium would be perfect for a launch press conference…!!!
